What does Ana & Mia mean ?

Ana is the short word for Anorexia and Mia is the short word for Bulimia. These nicknames are a way to represent eating disorders and to make it easier for people, most of them teenagers, to talk openly about them.

« Nothing taste as good as skinny feels »

In the corner, sitting on the kitchen counter is depression. Beside the depression is anorexia bones. Sitting at the table with pills in hand and crying is anxiety. In the refrigerator is bulimia, something like choking on vomit food before, and self-injury-cuts-whispering, urging her to cut, and the teenager falling in all of them, look at his face, it’s like a mixture of all disorders. The eyes and the smiles of self-injury, depression and anorexia are scary, are as creepy.
