AN UNPRECEDENTED 4000+ VISITS TO THE SHEIKH ZAYED SPIRULINA HUMANITARIAN DISTRIBUTION CENTRE IN KISUMU - KENYA DURING THE MONTHS OF AUGUST & SEPTEMBER 2016 OVERWHELMS THE IIMSAM RESOURCES. (Above-Picture taken during August-September 2016) The IIMSAM Sheikh Zayed IIMSAM Spirulina Distribution Center in Kisumu, Kenya Children School Programme Participants. 1.IIMSAM ACTIVITIES AT THE CENTER AUG-SEPT 2016: IIMSAM is engaged in identifying the needy and neglected children from poor background so that mostly their health and educational needs can fully be addressed through feeding them on Spirulina to help them live and enjoy a food secure and poverty free hence a more fulfilling life. The IIMSAM education program is one sure way of making certain that all children on the Spirulina feeding program have a chance to feed on spirulina daily. This helps them go through the complete circle for the Spirulina feeding process so that it becomes apparent with certainty that indeed they have been fully subjected to the entire period of the program and that they are devoid of malnutrition the world’s number one killer. IIMSAM’s School program the over 80 Children and 40 adults also benefited from feeding on over 800gms of fresh Spirulina during the visits. We are currently feeding over 100 people daily. Over 80 children and over 20 adults at the IIMSAM Zayed Centre. According to IIMSAM’s Executive Administrative and Field Director Mr. Lwamba in a communique to the Secretary General R. Maradona an unprecedented 4000+ Visits were made to the Centre during the months of August and September 2016 overwhelming the IIMSAM Spirulina resources available. He fetches waterdownstreamafterhisdaylonginschoolwhichhesellstoneighborsinexchangefortheirdailyfood.Thefoodtheymanagetoaccessissubstandardinthefirstplace,itverymuch fallsbelowthenutritional standardsandin most cases it is acquired under very unhygienicconditions, contributing to their stateofmalnutrition.

IIMSAMthereforewishestoappealandextend itsspecialrequestand invitationontheirbehalfforanywillingdonor includingour IIMSAMnotabledonors tokindly continueandextend fiscalassistancefortheirupkeepandsustainabilitywithintheschoolandfeedingprogramforassuredsustained health, quality of life, reduced mortality rate and quality educational needs inpreparednessforequippingthemwiththeirfutureskilledmanpowerrequirementstohelpthemleadnormalqualitylife.Wealsoappealforadditionalfundingfortheplacementofapilot-projectfor“SpecialNeeds”ChildrenwhovisittheCentrenowmorefrequentlythaneveran“extension”budget would relieve the need to use funds from the regular budget which is already underconsiderablestrainduetoanunprecedentedincreaseinvisitstotheCentre.

IIMSAM Working with “Concrete Deeds Compiled” Since 2009: (Data Showed Below compiled daily by the Centre Staff. Cut off date 30th of September 2016: The program has so far produced and distributed over 813,535 doses of Spirulina to date, to benefit over 80,119 people thus over 56,717 children and over 27,299 adults since 2009. The communities in Kisumu continue to rip the abundant health benefits from feeding on Spirulina distributed from IIMSAM Zayed Center.
