SHANTI NEPALAn organization for wholistic transformation

Mani Raj Shrestha shared a short devotional message from Isaiah 60:1-3 during the prayer meeting.

The chapter describes about the light which is for the city of Jerusalem. But it is also for all of us those who are redeemed but the blood of Jesus Christ.

The passage gives us the contract between the world and His people. The world is full of darkness and it only means nothing good. But God's light is upon those who are His children. His glory is risen up on us. This truly means that we are to enlighten this dark world with God's light. God gives us light and it is we who are to arise and shine. It is obvious that we cannot arise and shine until God gives us the light. God wants to work in partnership. His part is to give us light and ours are to arise and shine.

The good news is we have God's light. Let's arise first together in prayer and praise and shine this world with love, compassion, kindness, selfless help where Devil has spoiled almost everything with many evils. We have to correct them and bring them as well into God's light and glory. It is our duty to carry on lighting the world with fire and light. Let God be shine upon everybody and everywhere. AMEN.
