Admission procedure for few available vacant seats for the Academic Session 2012–2013will start from MONDAY, 19TH MARCH, 2012 with the issue of admission notice for the classesNURSERY & II I to IX.

For admission of students of other schools in CLASS XI (COMMERCE & SCIENCE STREAMS)parents should contact School Reception af ter publicat ion of results around 15th-20th May,2012.

Requisit ion slip for “REGISTRATION FORM FOR ADMISSION” is available ~

(a) free to parents of eligible students from the School Reception on submitt ing a xeroxcopy of Date of Birth Cert ificate. The processing fee of Rs. 500/ - is payable with Registrat ionForm either by cheque or by a Demand Draft in the name of ‘AGRASAIN BALIKA SIKSHA SADAN”payable at Liluah.

I M P O R T A N T 1. A xerox copy of birth cert ificate from Municipality/ Panchayat/ Registrar of Births/ Govt . recognised

Nursing Home, must be submit ted for issue of requisit ion slip etc.

2. Parents must preserve the acknowledgement slip and all correspondences received from theSchool in connect ion with the admission of their daughter.

3. Parents are advised to maintain a file copy of all important documents related to the childwhich they receive/ submit in the School for future use/ reference.

4. Date of Birth once accepted by the School can’t be changed without valid legal papers acceptableto Council for Indian School Cert ificate Exams. New Delhi.

5. The school does not have t ransport faci li t ies for the students. I t is the Parents dutyto arrange for proper and reliable t ransport for thei r chi ldren i f they live away f romthe school. The reliabi li ty of the t ransporter must be thoroughly assessed. The responsibi li tyof the school ceases af ter handing over of the student to ei ther parents or personsident i f ied by parents to bring/ take over the chi ld.

6. A new campus of the school has come up at 24, Agrasain Street (Opposite the school premisesat 1, Agrasain St .) where Primary Sect ion (Nursery to Class V) has been shifted.

7. At the init ial stage some parents may face difficulty in delivering and collect ing students fromthe new campus. Our efforts will be to streamline and make the process t rouble free fromthe very first day. Parents are requested to co-operate with school administrat ion to help stabilisethe process.

13. ADMISSION PROCEDURE :i) Admission in all classes is based on evaluat ion of child’s intellectual/ physical growth and parental at t itude.ii) All students seeking admission into Nursery have to sit for an interact ion session with both parents.

Students seeking admission in Class III to IX will have to appear for an admission test followed bypersonal evaluat ion as per announced schedule. A syllabus (based on the syllabus of previous classin ABSS) for test will be issued free of cost to parents with requisit ion slip so that parents can startpreparing students for test . Parents are advised not to t ry to influence the Management in admissionmatters.

iii) Date and t ime of interact ion/ test as not ified can’t be changed to suit convenience of a part icularstudent. Please do not come with such requests. Parents who will fail to at tend the interact ion sessionwill be considered to have withdrawn and their registrat ion will be cancelled. The school will neitherentertain any request/ correspondence in this respect, nor registrat ion fee paid will be refunded.

iv) Parents of selected students will be issued Admission & other forms from the School Recept ion onproduct ion of Acknowledgement slips.

v) Duly filled in Admission & other forms with requisit ion fees as not ified in admission let ter has tobe submit ted at the Bank Counter for the Admission & issue of Fee Book.

vi) An Ident ity Card and an Escort Card will be issued on the day of receiving Books. Only Father, Mother& a person ident ified by them can take custody of students from school.

vii) Please do not forget to bring acknowledgment slip & other papers whenever you come to school foradmission/ enquiry purposes.

viii) The Fees Book & ID Card const itute the valid document of admission in the school. Till then theacknowledgement slips are proof of candidature. ID No. will be used to ident ify the student in future.

14. FEES STRUCTURE :Fees structure for the session 2012-13 for the classes Nursery to XII has been put on the School Notice Board.Parents must note that the Governing Council of the School reserves the right to increase/ decrease fees or revisefees structure during the study of their daughter in this school any time without prior notice.

15. BOOKS & STATIONERY :The school offers books, school uniform, cardigans and p.t . dress, socks, belts, t ies, covers, pencils, pensetc. at concessional rates on no-profit basis. These items are available from School Tuck-Shop at discountedrates.Please bring fees book & money receipt when you come to collect books, dress etc.

16. Any parent desirous of meet ing wi th the Principal may seek an appointment through the School Recept ionon any working day of the School between 8-30 to 10-00 a.m.

17. Parents are advised to ~( i ) get of f icial works done through the School Recept ion (Ph.: 2654-0643/ 9251) only between 8.30-
