courses offered at the CTE Center 2+2 Degree Program Students obtain stackable credentials Share learning space to create course opportunities

summer for technical dual credit Mix/combine AISD students with TCC students as
appropriate to maximize course opportunities

STEM AcademyStudents will: Be prepared to pursue a STEM-related career Develop professional life skills in preparation for a
career in STEM Be part of the STEM cohort - a group of students
that will take their STEM-related academic curriculum and core classes together in a collaborative environment
Have the opportunity to select a STEM pathway of greatest interest: engineering, biology/biomedical science, computer science or math/science
Earn pre-AP, AP and dual credit with UT Arlington in STEM coursework
STEM AcademyStudents will: Experience integration of STEM content into other
core classes such as English and history Have the opportunity to complete university courses
in their pathway Be prepared to pursue a college degree in a STEM-
related major in college Engage with professional and educational mentors
to assist in their own personal growth and development in the STEM field
