an innovative system for storm water … f-reg... · f-reg : a more effective method to compensate...
TRANSCRIPT
Every year in Europe, flooding causes millions euros worth of damage
(850 M€/year in France). The situation is worsened by urbanization
waterproofing of the soil.
CONTEXT / CONCEPT
The authorities, well aware of the
problems, are compensating the
waterproofing failures with retention
tanks.
The engineers of F-Reg developed
their idea of an efficient working
systems that is easy to implement,
They patented a flow
limiter using the pipes that
collect the rain water and
waste water for buffer
storage enabling flow
regulation and
optimization of the pipes’
storage capacity.
It allows both stocking
and evacuation of rain
water in the collecting
pipes.
and requires as little maintenance as possible, in order to
compensate the increasing soil sealing and to restore a
more natural flowing system where there are artificial surfaces.
clever and efficient,
simple and reliable,
designed to retract
in case of storm,
automatic,
no electronic.
THE F-REG FLOVALV : AN EXCLUSIVE
AND PATENTED FLOW LIMITING DEVICE
●Flow limiting device
(French patent N° 11 04056),
●Flow régulation thanks to a
calibrated orifice and a
strong gaz piston closing the
F-Reg flovalv up to a certain
level of water pressure
upstream.
Mobile valv
Strong gaz piston
Calibrated
orifice outlet
Flovalv closed= regulation
Dry weather / small rain
no effect
Strong rain
Progressive opening= controled flow rate
Easy installation, specific conception
Specific conception in sustainable materials (PVC, inox 304 et 316L, no electronic).
Easy installation in a simple manhole in about 30 min.
Easy maintenance
• Easy to open, self-cleaning device,
• Dynamometric tests of the gaz piston every 2 or 3 years recommended.
• Geographic data bank of installed Flovalv limting device, for a specific folow up

F-REG : A MORE EFFECTIVE METHOD TO COMPENSATE THE
SOIL SEALING DU TO URBANIZATION
➢ For all types of constructions
producing soil sealing
(construction and renovation of
roads, building projects,
supermarkets, car parks, etc…)
Retention tank
Replacement of the
normal retention tanks,
Easy installation,
Requires no land space,
Reduces the cost of the
retention system by
between 30% and 50%,
Easy to maintain.
F-Reg Flow limiting device
Large diameter
Brings water back to the soil like the natural behaviour,
Reduce the storm water volume flowing down,
Economic,
No need of extra land to build a water storage tank.

F-Reg Flovalv in manhole
➢ Allows flow regulation in the existing sewer and drainage networks.
A NEW METHOD TO CONTAIN THE STORM WASTE WATER

Regulation upstream less polluted water flooding downstream
Less pollution in the rivers,
Avoid the construction of expensive stormwater basin,
Optimize the storage capacity of existingsystems,
A new dynamic regulation of sewer networks,

1000 mm regulation F-RegFlovalv installed on acombined sexer network forthe company « Suez Eau »,near Mulhouse.
- Storage of around 40 m3,
- Reducing pollutant discharge,
Exemple
- 45 m3 storage under a sidewalk,
- No extra land used,
- More economic than a standard concrete
retention basin.

- 30 m3 storage under a road,
- No extra land used,
- IoT connected Flovalv.

Other project : PARANQUES Road in Marseille (current call for tender)
- Around 700 m3 of storm water
storage under a 500 m long road
(1000 m3 for all the project),
