Enclosed herewith is a third amendment to the July filing for the Elliott For Kansas campaign. The first

amendment was to correct the math error in adding the contributions in Schedule A. The second amend­

ment was to correct a loan to the candidate for his startup costs. This third amendment is to correct the

original filing in which there was a difference between the amount reported on the cover page and

Schedule A of $500.

In preparing the reports for the filing as of October 27th, we discovered that the Cash On Hand at the

close of July 25th was incorrect. We discovered that we had inadvertently reported a contribution from

Robert Buford, dated July 1st twice on Schedule A. Mr. Buford made one contribution in the maximum

amount allowed, not two contributions of that amount. After correcting the duplicate entry, our cash on

hand balance matches our bank records.

I apologize for not having caught this error when we were notified of our math error by your office after

our original filing at the end of August. We checked the total of the column in Schedule A but didn't

check the entries.

Enclosed herewith Is an amended filing for Elliott For Kansas for the July 21st filing. This is to cor­

rect errors noted in the letter from the Governmental Ethics Commission dated Atlgust31st.

The first amendment was to correct the contributions amount shown on the summary ptlgc to

match Schedule A. The second change was to identify the payment of the candidate's filing fee on Scned­

ule C. We had reimbursed the candidate for that fee p'lus other expenses and had! lumped them together

in one line item. Based on your letter, we adjusted the candidates reimbursement totals to reflect the

filing fee separately from the' other reimbursement.

We also ma,de a correction to Schedule B. After reviewing our records to determine our handling

of the filing fee" we determIned thtlt we had overlooked a few items paid for by the candidate that were

under the $100 limH. The enclosed amended report now shows the corrected amounts for Schedule B.
