Dear Friends, Dear Colleagues,

It is our great privilege to invite you to participate in AMWC 2016, which will take place in Monte-Carlo from 31 March to 2 April 2016 and will be held under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.

Under the scientific supervision of the World Society of Interdisciplinary Anti-aging Medicine (WOSIAM), the conference will mark its 14th anniversary with advanced program content.

AMWC 2016 will give a special recognition to the UNITED STATES for its contributions to the advancement of global anti-aging medicine. We will be delighted to have with us the Honorary Presidents representing American medicine and science:

Dr S. Randolph WALDMAN (Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery)Dr Heidi WALDORF (Aesthetic Dermatology) Dr Barry SEARS (Preventive & Anti-Aging Medicine)

Over the last 14 years AMWC has played a key role in underpinning the scientific understanding of global anti-aging management. This mission is still very important today and the congress program addresses how to achieve effective aging prevention by comprehensively examining approaches in aesthetics (dermatology and surgery) for the external appearance while applying anti-aging medicine for internal wellbeing. To meet these goals, the AMWC 2016 will showcase cutting edge presentations by some of the most sought after experts in the fields of Aesthetic Dermatology, Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery and multidisciplinary Preventive & Anti-Aging Medicine.

The Committee has selected a multitude of scientific sessions, panels, and problem-based luncheons that will provide both intensive learning through hands-on experiences and direct interaction with faculty. The program aims to provide a world-leading and unique opportunity to bring together researchers and practitioners from diverse disciplines. Recent findings with clinical implications, new understandings, practical tips and tricks, marketing, and emerging technologies will be covered through interactive sessions and live demonstrations, alongside essential knowledge revision and update sessions.

The main theme of AMWC 2016 will be the role and importance of PREVENTION in aesthetic/anti-aging practice. Prevention is an active process, which makes the theme of the congress challenging and very relevant. Throughout the conference, the AMWC experts will discuss the following questions: The evolving role of prevention in health care and wellbeing of your patients - The impact of prevention on slowing the aging process and putting off aesthetic and surgical interventions - Striking the right balance between prevention and treatment.

Every year, this highly awaited event attracts about 10 000 participants coming from more than 120 countries. Over 300 leading international companies, showcasing throughout the 4-floor exhibition area, will be there to help you discover their latest products, technologies and services.

We will be glad to have you with us in Monaco to connect with the leaders in your field, partake in thought-provoking sessions and discussions, and strengthen your networks and friendships within our growing international Aesthetic & Anti-Aging community.

We look forward to sharing three exciting days with you in Monte-Carlo!

The CFA Update in Monaco this year will have a special focus on Prevention and Combination Therapies.

The vast array of currently available treatments in aesthetic medicine poses a challenge to both

physicians and patients to choose and time the right treatment for their needs and desires. How

can we promote healthy ageing with appropriate combined therapies to guide and help our patients not only

for one treatment but through their life cycles.

Internationally renowned experts will share their “daily practice pearls” and “tips & tricks”on the most pertinent Aesthetic Medicine Core & Advanced topics. The SAFE and effective use of Toxins, Dermal Fillers and Energy-based devices will be covered, with an emphasis on essential anatomy and techniques.

Clinically related presentations highly focused on practical aspects will include cadaveric anatomy videos, videos on “How I do it”, choice of products or devices and how to avoid and manage complications. This one-day course will give you the necessary update and interactive momentum to truly appreciate what the AMWC conference has to offer for your everyday aesthetic practice.

COURSE OBJECTIVESThe course content is established in order that the practitioner will be able to:

• Keep abreast of recent non-invasive rejuvenation strategies and related products and technologies

• Special emphasis is placed on prevention and effective combination therapies• Learn practical and clinical essentials of each treatment strategy• Holistically understand the “Full face” and “Natural look” approaches with

patient-centered care• Integrate and apply the learned information into their practice with confidence• Improve and excel their clinical performance on advanced aesthetic and

rejuvenation procedures

Recent breakthroughs in the aesthetic field responding to the intimate needs of the woman, cosmetic gynecology transforms female external genitalia appearance to look younger and more natural. Different cosmetic gynecological procedures are used to reconstruct existing defects or inadequate conditions perceived by some women. These procedures help them to regain self-confidence and can potentially improve intimate relationships and women’s emotions.

Despite an insufficient documentation on safety and effectiveness and undetermined standard of practice of genital cosmetic rejuvenation, a rising number of women and men are seeking for these kinds of care and procedures.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The objectives of this course are to provide the participants with evidence and studies including essential information on genital cosmetic procedures (for women and men). Application of hyaluronic acid and new treatments in cosmetic gynecology including experts’ debate & discussion on philosophical aspects of the treatment on the patients will be addressed.
