What is being done The threat to this animal is logging because they are cutting down the forest and and making it that the tigers have no place to go. Another threat is poaching it isn't as big as deforestation but it is still a reason why the Amur Tiger is an endangered animal. There are only about 400 Amur Tigers left in the wild so they are trying to save every last one they can find. The WWF (world wild life fund) is monitoring the population also, they have conservation leases that makes sure that there will be no poaching or any other way that the population can decline.
