Digital out of home - taxis

Advertising on tablets in premium taxis • The CabTab is a tablet placed in a taxi that provides passengers with infor-

mation on attractions and areas worth visiting. The tablet is interactive and also offers the possibility to immediately carry out a booking or purchase. By providing the passenger with insights into his or her journey, destination and surroundings, the CabTab adds value to the ‘lost’ travel time.

• Banner campaign: when passengers step into the taxi, they will first be shown a welcome screen that lasts for 10 seconds. This is the first and most promi-nently present message shown on the screen of the CabTab. You can already start your service before your customer arrives, or continue the service after the customer has left the taxi.

• Reach: on average, one taxi ride lasts 13.5 minutes. one taxi ride translates to ap-proximately 1.8 persons. On average, one taxi gives 11.7 rides per day. There are 200 taxis with CabTab that ride within the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area.

Door de passagier inzicht te geven in zijn reis, de eindbestemming en de omgeving, voegt de CabTab waarde toe aan ‘verloren’ reistijd. De taxichauffeur zal daarnaast zijn beste beentje voorzetten om de best mogelijke service te bieden, waardoor het taxiwezen een positievere uitstraling krijgt. Als een passagier instapt, ziet hij op de CabTab als eerst tien seconden lang een welkomstscherm. Dit is het eerste en meest prominent aanwezige bericht in beeld van de CabTab. Hierdoor is onverdeelde aandacht van de passagier gegarandeerd. De schermen kunnen vertoond worden op basis van de locatie waar de passagier heen reist of zojuist vandaan komt, of op basis van het tijdstip waarop de passagier instapt. De manier waarop de taxi is besteld kan gebruikt worden om het welkomstscherm zo persoonlijk mogelijk te maken. Als de taxi bijvoorbeeld wordt gereserveerd vanuit een hotel, kan het welkomstscherm een afscheidsboodschap van dat hotel bevatten. Op deze manier kunt u uw service al laten beginnen voor uw klant bij u arriveert, of de service vervolgen nadat de klant bij u vertrekt
