Hello and welcome to the early summer catalogue.

We are all looking forward to this wonderful summer we are being promised, but Ihave to say that spring is a favourite for me. The Moors are looking particularlybeautiful as I write this, I am pleased to say that lambing is finally over and the lambsare cavorting around the fields in the lovely sunshine ‘full of the joys’.

Our range of swimwear has expanded and is selling quickly – check your wardrobeand why not treat yourself to a new swimsuit and pareo for this heat wave that isexpected?

I am receiving really good comments from customers who have ordered bra’s thathave the ‘side sling’ – I know that this does not sound particularly glamorous – but itdoes do the trick in as much as this side seam ‘lifts and projects you forward’ whenyou have a full bust.

New for this season

Glamorise: - A firm favourite with you has now been added to with – Strapless,Elegant 5 way support bra suitable for bridal and evening wear – page 34 and ‘SoftShoulder’ range – page 35 very pretty with good support, having the added comfortof wide foam shoulder straps.

Empreinte: - This ever popular, very feminine, brand has been added to with ‘Tess’‘Salome’ and ‘Celeste’ ranges – see pages 30 – 32 and gorgeous swimwear see pages23 -25.

Elomi: - This was a new brand to AmpleBosom.com and has been very well received,we have now added to this with the ‘Caitlyn’ range see page 22 a supportive prettybra that has the ‘side sling’ I mentioned earlier.

Waites: - A lovely range of nightwear in 100% cotton in fresh colours which willwash and wear well.

To check your bra size, you need to taketwo measurements.

1. Underbust measurement

Measure under your bust, adding 4” if the

measurement obtained is an even number

of inches, and 5” if the measurement

obtained is an odd number of inches. (For

example, if your underbust measurement

is 31”, add 5 to obtain bra size 36, or, if

your underbust measurement is 30“ add

4 to obtain bra size 34.)

2. Overbust measurement

Next measure round the fullest part of

your bust to determine cup size. If the

bust measurement is the same as your bra

size, your cup size is A. 1” more gives cup

size B, 2” more gives cup size C, 3”more

gives cup size D, 4” more gives cup size

DD, and so on through E,F,FF and G.

Try these and if you still have problems,please do not hesitate to get in touch withus for advice.

If bra rides up at back. . . adjust hookand eye closure to tighten, loosen strapsor try a smaller band size (e.g. 34 insteadof 36).

If band digs in. . . order one band sizelarger (e.g. 36 instead of 34) or opt for abra with a wider band.

If straps dig in. . . opt for smaller backsize or loosen shoulder straps.

If straps slip. . . tighten straps or opt forbra with wider straps.

A GUIDE TO FITTING

TROUBLESHOOTING

If shoulders are sore. . . loosen bra or optfor one with wider, or padded straps.

If sides bulge. . . order one band sizelarger (e.g. 36 rather than 34) or choose astyle that provides more cup coverage.

If cups wrinkle at tip. . . opt for a largercup size.

If cups wrinkle at tip and sides. . . optfor smaller cup size.

If cups overflow. . . order one cup sizelarger (C to D) or one band size larger(e.g. 34 to 36).

If bustline sags. . . shorten straps, avoidstretchy fabrics or choose a firmersupport style with rigid straps.

If wires pinch or poke out (i.e. do not lieflat to chest). . . opt for one cup sizelarger (e.g. B to C) or try a non wired cupstyle.


An example

Underbust measurement 29” + 5” = brasize 34

Overbust measurement 34” = cup A

So the correct fitting would be 34A.
