High Leakage Current
Earth connection is essential before connecting supply.
DC Short Circuit
Avoid short circuit during operation. ZXDU68 T451 system is a power supply product ofconstant DC voltage.
Connecting or Disconnecting Power Cable
Power cable operation with power ON will cause fatal danger to operation personnel anddamage to the equipment.
l Set all the breakers and switches to Off prior to connecting or disconnecting a powercable.
Setting all the breakers and switches to Off will cause power supply interruption to theloads connected. Do not shut down the system without permission. Or, switch theloads to another power supply system.
l Prior to connecting a cable, make sure that the cable and its label are in accordancewith the requirement.
Tools Safety
When operating high-voltage equipment, tools safety must be considered. Use InsulatedTools.
Electrostatic Damage
Electrostatic discharges generated by human body may damage components. Use wriststraps when handling the equipment. Insulate the uncovered metals to prevent shortcircuit.
Operation on Battery
l Before performing any operation on battery, read the safety precautions in the batterymanual.
l Connect the battery cables according to the instructions. Avoid short circuit andelectrolyte leakage.

1.1 System IntroductionZXDU68 T451 is an indoor power supply equipment. It can power mobile base stations,access network equipment, remote switch offices, transmission equipment, groundsatellite transceiver stations, and microwave communication devices.
In full configuration, the ZXDU68 T451 system is equipped with four ZXD2400 rectifiers,which form a power system with a maximum of 200 A output.

1.2 Working EnvironmentZXDU68 T451 is applied indoors. The requirements for the environment are as follows:
1. No conductive dusts or corrosive gases; no explosion hazard, no shake or jolt.2. In the AC power distribution box, a breaker should be available to power the ZXDU68
T451 system.
The AC input mode is three-phase five-wire (L1/L2/L3/N/PE).
3. The grounding busbar is available for the ZXDU68 T451 system and the groundingresistance meets the requirements in the engineering specifications.

4. In the equipment room, the temperature, humidity and air pressure meet therequirements stated in Table 1-1.

2.2 Power Distribution UnitThe power distribution unit is composed of AC and DC parts of the system and providesthe electrical connections and distribution. Figure 2-2 illustrates the distribution part of thesystem. Refer to Table 2-2 for the details on the individual components.

Note:l Normally, only the IN and OUT indicators are lit. When the rectifier is in sleep mode,
only the IN indicator is lit.l In case of current limit, the CL indicator is lit.l In case of any alarm, the ALM indicator is lit.
The aforementioned indicators signify the working state of the rectifier. Refer to Table 2-3for a description.

2.5 Slots ConfigurationThe number of rectifiers for each of the phases should be basically identical in order tomaintain phase balance and favor a good radiation. The distribution of the slots and phasesof the rectifiers are shown in Figure 2-7.

2.6 SIB Board InterfacesThe Signal Interface Board (SIB) provides external communication interfaces andmonitoring unit signals interfaces. The SIB board is shown in Figure 2-8. Refer to Table2-5 for the interfaces description.
Note:
The communication ports of the monitoring unit are X19, X20, X21 and X22. X21 and X22are optional.
l X19 and X21 are used in RS232 communication mode. X20 and X22 (optional) areused in RS485 communication mode.
l Use X21 when using Modem communication mode.l X19 and X20 should not be used at the same time.l Use X19 when downloading programs or downloading font in RS232.
