Casey Parker and Joe Gunn, co-workers at Fergie’s Pub, had dreamed of opening their own bar. When they came across 263 South 15th Street, between Locust Street and Spruce Street, they immediately jumped on the property, knowing that the location was too perfect to pass on.

With a small staff of friends, Jose Pistola’s opened its doors on August 28th, 2007. The bar is now known for its amazing beer selection, fantastic bartenders, Monday night Quizzo, and great Mexican food. They also feature Meet the Brewer lunches, including Stoudts, Schneider, and Long Trail, agreen brewery from New England.
