Idea behind the seminar
Preparation of a new generationof transport scientists and science based professionals in the area of traffic and transportation
Continuing of the tradition of the YRS(Copenhagen 2001, Lyon 2003, The Hague 2005)
Aims
• Promoting multicultural European tutorials and supporting the training in an international forum through written and oral presentation
• Facilitating personal and interdisciplinary contacts among ECTRI, FEHRL, FERSI
• Encouraging networking between junior researchers from different environments

• Sustainable transport and environment
• Transport safety
• ITS
• Transport engineering

- evaluation of the papers- scientific and formal feedback (guidance)- discussions, comments and advices given
during the seminar

Promotion of YRS’07towards the scientific community
• Mr. Janez Potočnik, Commissioner for Science and Research, promised to assist the opening/closing of the seminar
• Mr. Jacques Barrot, Commissioner for Transport, was invited to attend
• Presence of representatives of scientific community in the Czech Republic (Academy of Science, universities…)
