A letter from our Pastor…
Today, I ask for your support for the Bishop’s Appeal. Keeping today’s Gospel in mind, do you see yourself connected to Jesus, like branches connected to the vine? Do you see our sisters and brothers as branches connected to Christ, too? Serving as disciples today, we seek to keep all of our brothers and sisters connected to Christ. We are connected in grace, love, prayer and service.
I write to you today on behalf of the Bishop’s Appeal which serves our parishes and serves our sisters and brothers in need in our Albany Diocese. Consider how your gift or pledge makes a difference in the life of your neighbor. Holy Spirit’s share in these ministries of spirit and service is $59,200.
Last weekend, I spoke to you on how being attentive to the small details in life matter and how our service to others even in these small matters changes everything. This weekend is Commitment Weekend. Think about how your participation, just you or your family, when taken together with our parishioners and all the parishes in our diocese, can help us serve so many in the name of Jesus.
You may use the blank form I included in the letter mailed to your home or you may use the Appeal envelopes in the pews today. Please place your form or envelop in the collection basket at today's Mass. To give online, please go to www.thebishopsappeal.org.
Your generous response makes it possible for our diocese to offer pastoral, spiritual and material care to so many. You share in the saving work of Jesus. Let's remember that sharing the Joy of the Gospel starts with all of us!
Peace be with you, Fr. Joe
PS—Construction work continues at the Parish House. You can visit the Parish Center office by using the ground level door facing the parking lot that is closest to the school. Just ring the doorbell and walk in, Monday thru Friday from 9:30AM to 3:30PM. You can reach us by phone, 518-477-7925.
Returning from travels? You can bring your Holy Week and Easter stewardship to our office. Your Rice Bowl donations are also most welcome.
You are invited to celebrate sacraments with us: The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available on Saturday at 3:00PM or by appointment.
Contact the Parish Center to arrange preparation for Baptism, First Eucharist, Confirmation, First Reconciliation, or Sacrament of the Sick. If you are interested in celebrating the Sacrament of Marriage, please contact the parish at least six months in advance.
You are welcome here!

“This is a powerful summons to all of us... You too need to see the entirety of your life as a mission. Try to do so by listening to God in prayer and recognizing the signs that he gives you. Always ask the Spirit what Jesus expects from you at every moment of your life and in every decision you must make, so as to discern its place in the mission you have received. Allow the Spirit to forge in you the personal mystery that can reflect Jesus Christ is today’s world.” ~Pope Francis, Rejoice and Be Glad
