Configure the wireless settings

1. On the console, go to My Xbox, and then select System Settings.2. Select Network Settings.3. Select the name of the wireless network.

Note :If you do not see the wireless network, select Advanced Options. Then select Specify Unlisted Network, and enter the wireless network name. Next, you are prompted to choose the security type.

4. Enter the wireless network password.5. Select Yes if you are prompted to update the console software.

When you successfully connect to Xbox LIVE, the screen will look like this:

Configure the wireless settings

1. On the console, go to My Xbox, and then select System Settings.2. Select Network Settings.3. Select Configure Network.4. On the Basic Settings tab, select Wireless Mode.

5. Select Scan for Networks. 6. Select the wireless network name.7. Enter the wireless network password, and then select Done. 8. Select Test Xbox LIVE Connection. 9. Select Yes when you are prompted to update the console software. Once the console software is updated.

How to ensure wireless is working? Built-in Wi-Fi (Xbox 360 S console)

1. If you have a network cable or a wireless networking adapter attached to the console, unplug it.

2. Go to My Xbox, and then select System Settings.

3.Select Network Settings.

4. Look for the wireless signal bars.

Reset network settings

1. If you are using an Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter, unplug the adapter from the console.

2. On the console, go to My Xbox, and then select System Settings.

3. Select Network Settings.

4. Select Configure Network.

5. Move right on the D-pad to access the Additional Settings tab and select Restore to Factory Defaults. Select Yes, restore to factory defaults when prompted.

6. Plug the Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter back into the USB port (if you are using an adapter).

7. Turn on the console.
