• Write about an experience that is either awkward or difficult to talk about. (Don’t worry, we’re not sharing them with anyone). It can be embarrassing, sad or just deeply personal. Explore in writing, something that is hard for you to say out loud.
WRITING THREE WAYS…
• Today we’re going to look at three pieces of writing. In each piece, the narrator is dealing with their own death from Cancer.
• One is a poem by Jason Shinder, one is an excerpt from the fictional novel The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and one is a personal essay by David Rakoff.
