words at home and use the provided sorting mat to

practice reading and sorting their words throughout

the week. To keep their materials organized, I always

suggest to students to use a paperclip to attach the

words onto the word list when they’re not using them

AND to keep it on the refrigerator or in their

homework folder for the duration of the week.
