Every government is thinking about austerity
The presentation is “axe”
The reality is gradual but persistent spending cuts
Traditional public service models won’t work
No more big machinery
Lots more barn raising
Connection is more important than structure
Some organisations won’t cope
But others will be able to retool
Finding the innovators ...
... linking them with the establishment ...
... and putting citizens at the centre of the conversation.
We need to design spaces wherethose connections can happen
Then create them ...
... without forgetting about the disengaged.
