Meet the ExpertsMeet Stacy London and Clinton Kelly, Fashion Experts on TLC’s “What Not To Wear!”

They are here to give you some tips so you don’t get busted by the CPMS “fashion police!”

Let’s start with the obvious,

shall we?

Let’s not be a distraction

…or show our underwear.Ew.

Let’s go over some

Do the “Sit Test!”When you’re in the dressing room

or at home, sit in your skirt. Is any part of your bum touching the seat? If so, please don’t wear that skirt to school!

Final Thoughts…If you are trying to decide what to wear to

school and the following question pops in your head:

“I wonder if this goes against the dress code policy?”

Then play it safe and don’t wear it! Chances are it does not meet the standards of the KISD

dress code. J

Final Thoughts…

All dress code issues will be subject to the

campus administrator’s

judgment.

What You Need To KnowLet me ask you a question: If you had your driver’s license, would you have to know the rules/laws of driving?

Student Code of ConductIf you answer yes, you are correct! Without knowing the rules/laws of driving, you could compromise your safety and the safety of others while driving.

Student Code of ConductThe same concept applies here at school. Just like there are consequences for breaking a law on the road, there are consequences to breaking the “laws” in the Student Code of Conduct. SCOC violations (and any other types of referrals) can prevent you from participating in extracurricular activities, such as Sapphires, cheerleading, NJHS, Leadership Academy, etc.).

That sounds horrifying!!

Student Code of ConductWe will continue to discuss the Patterson Norms over the course of the year. In the meantime, you are responsible for knowing the information stated in the Student Code of Conduct. You may view the Code of Conduct at the website below:https://www.killeenisd.org/departmentDocs/c952/documents/StudentCoCEnglish.pdf

Student Code of Conduct Signature CardThursday you will get a signature card, which indicates that you understand the contents of the Student Code of Conduct. You need to take this home and review the Code of Conduct with your parents. Then you and your parents need to sign the card and return it to me tomorrow!

Questions?Should you have any questions, please feel free to ask any CPMS staff member!

Go CAVS!You guys look FABULOUS!
