• It is manipulative and only shows one side—it can be partially false (distorting the truth) or completely false

• A Latin phrase meaning to attack the person, as opposed to attacking their arguments.

enough times, may be taken as the truth• Examples: “No New Taxes”

Bandwagon

• This method attempts to persuade the target audience to join in and take the course of action that “everyone else is taking”
