What is the FTCT?

• A charity that has been providing educational grants to the children of those working in the fashion and textile industries since 1853

How can FTCT help?

• Educational grants to fund tutorial support for children with special educational needs

• Welfare grants for the little things which most of us take for granted, like clothing, bedding or school uniform.

• Specialist equipment to help a child with physical disabilities.

Who is eligible?

• The child must be 18 or under

• The parent or carer must have worked in fashion/textile retail or manufacturing for at least three years, if applying for an education grant, or one year for a welfare grant.

•   There must be a case of need; it must be an ‘essential to have’ not a ‘nice to have’
