ImyselfhavefinancedtheactivitiesofthisassociationtotheleveloftensofthousandsofdollarsthroughthesaleofbooksthatIhavewrittenandpublished.Withthismoneyitwaspossibletofinancesomeactivities.AsaspecialistinMHD(magnetohydrodynamics)at the international level, Ihavedirected themountingofexperimentson low-densityplasmas which have led to results that have been presented in major internationalconferencesandhaveresultedinpublicationsinreferee-controlledjournals(thePolishjournalActaPhysica1).IalsobelievethatIamtheonlyonetohaverelatedmyworkinMHDtotheUFOsubject.Withoutgoingintodetail,thesestudiesfocusedontheoreticalwork showing that it was possible for a flying machine to operate in dense air atsupersonic,andevenhypersonic,speed,withoutcreatingshockwavesorturbulence,i.e.withoutnoise,behaviourimmediatelyrelatedtotheapparentperformanceofUFOs.

Ithasnotbeenpossible,despitealltheeffortsIhavemadeformorethantenyears,from1976to1986,tosetupexperimentalresearch,tomakethisideaareality.Butwehaveseen that the Russians, who know and appreciate my long-standing work, havesuccessfully implemented this technique (see the testimonyofPresidentPutin,duringhis speech given in the Duma2). implementation of missiles capable of flying at hyeprsonic speed in dense air,hypersonic gliders with high manoeuvrability, and submarine drones at high speed.Techniques directly inspired by the behaviour of UFOs during intra-atmosphericevolutions.

In1986Ishiftedtohigh-leveltheoreticalstudies,touchingoncosmology.Apresentationofsuchworkcanbe found in the Janusvideos3.Thiswork is intendedtodemonstratethefeasibilityofinterstellartravel.

WhetherthroughMHDorcosmology,Ibelievemyworkhasbeenauniqueexampleofahigh-level scientistwhohasdevotedsomuch timeandeffort to thisproposition. Iamconvinced thisworkhas showna clearmeansof confirming theUFOphenomenon asvisits by extraterrestrial civilizations, which has resulted in a dozen or so scientificpublications published in top-level journals, controlled by the peer reviewed journalsystem.

Since2007, theactivitiesof theUFO-scienceassociation, inaddition toallowingmetofinancemyparticipationininternationalconferences,hasbeenanopportunitytotrytodevelop techniquesaimedat capturing scientifically exploitable informationabout theUFOphenomenon.

Unfortunately,examiningthehundredsofthousandsoftestimoniesdoesnotbringmuchthat a scientist can exploit. These testimonies generally seem to be exotic andincomprehensibletoourlevelofunderstanding.

Nor canwe hope to getmuch out of photographs and films due to the fact thatwithtoday'stechniquesitisextremelyeasytocreatefakes.

Inthisdocumentwewillpresenttwoapproaches,bothconcreteandinsimpletechnicalterms, which could make it possible to extract data from the exploitation of opticalinformation. And, in passing, to demonstrate, the apparent exotic nature of thesemanifestations.

The first technique isbasedona technique thatwas implementedby theAirForceasearly as 1952, and aims to obtain a spectrum during a night observation of the UFOphenomenon.Forthegeneralpublic,letusrecalltheprinciplesofspectroscopy.

AsIsaacNewtonshowed,whitelightisinfactthesuperpositionoflightraysdistributedaccordingtoawholerangeoffrequencies,andthereforeofcolour.WhitelightwastobeunderstoodasthatemittedbytheSun,byitsoutercrown,madeupofaplasmaheatedtoatemperaturecloseto6000degreescentigrade.Thisfacthasbeendemonstratedbyplayingonthefactthatalightbeamdoesnotundergothesamerefractionphenomenonaccording to its frequency, and therefore its light. A prism involves two successiverefractionsandtheresultisasfollows:

However, different atomsdonot emit light in a continuous spectrum.Light emissionsarecarriedoutatcertainspecificfrequencies,resultinginaspectrumoflines.Belowisthe emission spectrum of a body that would emit light at three frequencies, thusproducingthroughaslotaspectrumconsistingofthreelines.

Someatoms,suchassodium,emitlightatonlyonefrequency,givingafrequencythatiscomposedofonlyoneline:

ThespectrumoftheSunitselfhasonlyanappearanceofcontinuity.Itslightisemittedbydifferentatomsthatmakeupitsemissiveouterside,whichinturnemit inawholerangeoffrequencies,sothatthedifferentfrequenciesarepresentinthespectrum.Soitdoesn'tseemlikethereareanygaps.

Itcanbeseenthattheanalysisofthespectrumcorrespondingtoalightemissionmakesitpossibletoidentifythenatureofthesourcethatemitsthislight.Let'stakeaweatherphenomenonasanexample.Itisthepassageofairwithwatercontentorhumidity.Wecanthereforeexpect,whenwesucceedincapturingaspectrumofthephenomenon,toidentifylinescorrespondingtoitscomponents:oxygen,carbondioxide,watervapour.Ifwe capture the spectrum associatedwith an ironmeteorite atmospheric re-entry,wecanexpecttodetectiron-relatedlines,etc.

Itisnotknownwhattypeoflightisemittedbytheufos.Spectrumcapturecouldprovideinformationonthespectrumandthephenomenonthatgivesrisetoit.ButitispossiblethatthislightemissioncouldinvolveatomsnotpresentintheEarth'satmosphere,suchas lithium. Detecting lines in such a spectrum that betray the action of bodies notpresent in the Earth's atmosphere could demonstrate that the phenomenon thusrecordedcannotberelegatedtoanaturalupper-airphenomenon.

Wepresentedthefirstdevicethat,historically,hasmadeitpossibletoobtainaspectraldecomposition of light. But very quickly, scientists opted for something simpler andespecially lesscumbersome,whichare lineardiffractiongratings.Wewillnotdescribethemechanismsthatcauselighttodecomposeintoaspectrum(actuallytwo,locatedoneithersideofthesourceimage).Thediagramisasfollows:

Withadiffractiongratingitiseasytoshowthatfluorescenttubesfailtorestoresunlighttowhatyouinstinctivelyfeel.Howdosuchtubeswork?TheycontainMercuryvapour,whichisexcitedbythepassageofanelectricaldischarge.Butitisnotthisonethatisthesource of the light we receive. Mercury atoms restore their energy to a thin layer ofwhite fluorescentcoatingthatcoversthe insideof theglass tube.This ismadeupofamixture of many components which, re-emitting as visible light, are supposed torecreate the solar spectrum. But, within these re-emissions some frequencies aremissing.Wehaven'tfoundanyatomsthatcanre-emitinthesefrequencies

This helps to understand how a difference can be made between different possiblesources,forexampleofthespectrum.

FacedwithDoré'srefusaltoputthefileofthisobjectinfreeaccessonthenet,Iaskedafriendwho owned a 3D printer to recreate it. It did sowithout difficulty and greatlyimproveditbyeliminatingthedelicategluingoperation.Ascanbeseenonthedrawingspicturesbelow,simplyinsertthesmallfragmentofgratingthatissandwichedbetweenthetwopartsofthedrawer,whichfoldovereachother.

AfewhundredInternetusersdownloadedthisfile,acquiredthenetworkandmadethisassembly for their personal use. But for a UFO spectrum to be obtained, it is nothundreds,buthundredsofthousandsofdevicesofthiskindthatcouldequipcellphones.

IwouldliketopointoutinpassingthatitwouldbeuselesstosendmesuchaphotoasanattachmentbecauseIdonothavethetechnicaltools,andthetimetoensureafollow-upofsuchaproject.Ifanyoneinthepubliccouldbeabletomanipulatethisobjectandobtain a spectrum, itwould be necessary for the examination of it to be entrusted toacademics.

An analysis that could possibly reveal lines betraying the contribution of an exoticmaterial,comparedtoaspectraldatabase.

Itisthereforethefirstsystemwehavedevelopedaspartoftheassociation'sactivities.Thepurposeofthisapproachistohopethatotherselsewherewillbeabletotakeupthisverysimpleideaontheirownandgiveittheattentionitdeserves.

A second project, which I asked Ufo-science to develop, was that of an automaticsurveillance camera, equippedwith a fisheye lens, capable of operating in a network.Themaininterestliesinthefactthatifseveralcameras(atleasttwo)recordasignal,theanalysisof the imagesnotonlymakes itpossible toreconstruct thethree-dimensionaltrajectoryof thesource,butalso toaccess information tocalculate its speed.We thenobtainasecondmuchmoreinterestingdevicethatpotentiallyallowsustodemonstratethephysicalrealityofufos.

Once again Jean-Christophe Doré has proved remarkably effective in creating a verycheap prototype camera. I am always admiring the qualities of the technicians,whenthey know how to extract the essence of a raw idea and convert it into the simplestpossibleobject.

The object is built around a small fish eye surveillance camera, housed under a glassdomethatisnothingmorethanafragmentofanurbanstreetlampbulb.Therestofthecomponentscomefromplumbing,makingtheobjectremarkablyeasyandinexpensiveto manufacture for a do-it-yourselfer who manages to get his various components.Below isaphotoof thisdevice,which Jean-ChristopheDorécalled"UFO-catch"andofwhichhehastenedonceagaintoregisterthenameandtheplan,always"inthenameoftheassociation".

This camera is connected to a capture device, itself connected to a microcomputer,whichrecordswhenthecapturewasmadeandthecorrespondingfisheyeimage.Belowis the type of images recorded by J.C. Doré by two cameras a few tens of kilometersapart:
