Our Leadership Team . . .
Welcome to the 2016 Marching Royal Duke’s Percussion
Section! We’re very excited to have you for this
upcoming season. It’s time to start getting prepared for band camp in August. Here’s
some stuff to expect:
• Long, hot days • Hard work and dedicated people • Family bonds and close friendships • Lots of fun • Some very, VERY loud music • And of course, one awesome end
product!
So… What do I bring to
band camp?
• Extra water bottle – you’ll get one at check in, but we all misplace things now and then
• Multiple pairs of ear plugs – this band has over 400 people in it. It’s loud, and we want you to keep your hearing.
• PENCILS AND HIGHLIGHTERS
• Comfortable shoes for marching
• Comfortable clothes that you can sweat in
• Sunglasses, hats, sunscreen
• Painkillers for those days when you’ve just worked THAT hard
• Any required medications (Epi-‐pens, Inhalers, etc.)
• A good attitude and a drive to be successful
