NOT stop while the issue is resolved.

see important elements of the solution.

If the team hasn’t finished their presentation before

time ends, the TKA will stop the presentation.

Appraisers will inspect the solution materials and ask

the team questions to help them understand the

team supporters to assist them in removing their

materials and cleaning up the presentation site if

At the tournament, it is Never OK for Team

Managers and other Non-Team Members to:

• Participate in the team’s live Presentation once

their Time Limit begins

– Give stage directions

– Use hand signals or sign language to communicate with

team

– Verbally communicate with the team

49

Points To Remember

Team Manager Survival

• A month before competition, you will feel

that they will NEVER be finished. They

will, but almost always at the last minute!

• If for some reason the team doesn't

complete its solution by the date of the

tournament, come anyway.

– We celebrate what they have completed and

they also get to do an Instant Challenge.
