Educator Effectiveness

• PURPOSE—You know what the System is and how to do it.

• Now, for 2015-16, focus on the why/purpose of the System and how to implement it better, as well as how to use it to support good teaching and learning locally.

• Remember, it is ALL about growth. Reflect, take risks, etc.

Educator Effectiveness

• There was a shift in the System Measures/Weights to better align to the purpose.

• SLOs now comprise 100% of the outcome portion of the System…the other measures still exist, but not as measures which are scored—instead, they are provided to educators as data/information/evidence to support the design/development of the SLO as historical trend data.

Educator Effectiveness

• Register for Working on the Work/WOW events at your CESA—these are FREE

• Statewide events designed to support local implementation and to connect EE to all the other things you already do as a teacher as part of good teaching and learning.
