What is Graphics?• Graphic communications is everywhere you see words and

images. Books, magazines, billboards, clothing, web sites, CDs, documents, credit cards. Someone working in graphic communications made them all. It’s the industry that revolutionized society with the printing press and now leads a new revolution into the digital age. Innovative. Idea-driven. Important. Bringing information to the world. Graphic communications could be the career choice for you.

Classroom Materials:

• Three Ring Binder• (4) Tab Dividers

Notes, Class work, Test, Handouts• Loose Leaf Paper• Pencil/Pen

• A textbook will be issued to you that may be kept in the classroom.

Grades are based upon the following:

50%

PROJECT GRADES

Business Cards, Letterheads, Envelopes, Notepads, Stickers, Mouse Pads, T-Shirts,

Buttons, Etc.

20%Classwork

Review Questions, Worksheets, Etc.

Notebook CheckNotebooks will be checked once a grading quarter.

30%TEST and QUIZ

GRADESThis includes any chapter test or quiz.

For a TOTAL OF 100%of your total grade.

• Class Syllabus (read & signed by student & parent)

• Student Info Sheet (completed in class by student)
