We provide oral health care as part of training the undergraduates for the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery

(DDS) and postgraduates in Masters in Orthodontics as well as serving the

community as a referral center for various dental treatment.

Clinical Services

• The delivery of the clinical services

commenced since 1998.• We have currently registered

up to 48000 patients.• We register 400 new cases and

manage 2773 patients monthly.• The Faculty decided to develop a new

dental software for patient management.

Sistem Pesakit PergigianDental Patient Management System

• “Sistem Pesakit Pergigian” or Dental Patient Management System is a web-based software developed by UKM Center For Information Technology

• The system aims to assist the Faculty of Dentistry in running the clinical services, managing the clinical database and to keep track of the students’ clinical progress

Functions of The System

• Registration of new patients• Electronic management of patients’ data• Appointment module for both staff and

students• Management of various patients’

waiting list for treatment• Generate reports on management of

patients by staff and students• Billing module
