Our staff is operating under the oversight of the elders in the general direction set by our lead pastor Tom Rodgers, who passed away on June 30. Please continue to pray for our entire leadership team as we seek direction and clarity during this time.

We invite you to spend the next few weeks in worship with us as we consider and celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ through the lens of “O Holy Night,” the beloved Christmas carol by French composer Adolphe Adam.

Each Sunday morning, during our regular worship services, we’ll explore a different aspect of Jesus’ ministry in our lives, including the hope he provides, his constant friendship, and the freedom he offers.

On Christmas Eve, we’ll gather in the chapel for a special candlelight nativity service as we celebrate the moment of his birth. Childcare is available during the first two services.

Today in worship we’re concluding Carry On, a Sunday morning study of the book of Nehemiah, which is the account of a man—and a people—committed to faithfully doing God’s work in the face of challenges and opposition. We’re glad you’ve joined us as we gather together this morning!

Do you need less chaos and more Jesus this Christmas? This evening of cookies and conversation with Becky Kiser, author of Sacred Holidays, will help you learn learn to be less busy and focus more on Jesus during the upcoming Christmas season—you can still sign up today!

Saturday, December 8 is our church family’s day to volunteer with the Salvation Army during their annual Christmas giving event. You can sign up in the Main Hall today for a time slot that will allow you to serve with family and friends.

II. Addressing the issue with Tobiah: Compromise with ungodliness leads to evil— Nehemiah 13:4–9.

III. Addressing the neglect of the temple: Failing to support the needs of the Levites and priests indicated a forsaking of God’s established worship—Nehemiah 13:10–14.
