Chairman of the EEBA International Program
Dear EEBA Students,
The Entrepreneurial Economics Bachelor of Arts Program – EEBA (International
Program) is pleased to welcome all of you to Faculty of Economics, one of the
first four faculties founded at Kasetsart University. Since the EEBA international
program has been established in 2009, then we have already had the first
graduates in this 2013. Therefore, the 2013 students are our 5th generation of the
EEBA program. The EEBA international program has been growing progressively
with great cooperation among Department of Economics, Department of
Agricultural and Resource Economics, and Department of Cooperatives, Kasetsart
University. Besides, we also invite our domestic academic partners as guest
lecturers from Chulalongkorn University, Thammasart University, government and
private institutions for highest benefits in learning experiences of our EEBA
students. In addition, the EEBA international program has several international
academic partners that students are able to seek in double degrees, internship,
exchange program, study trip, and other international academic activities.
Again, on behalf of the EEBA International Program, I would like to warmly
welcome and congratulate you to be our lovely students. During the next 3 – 4
years, I strongly hope that our EEBA students will have a great time and enjoy
your campus life exploring Thai and international friendships at Kasetsart

EEBA Program Introduction
Under rapid changes in the global economy, goods, services and
financial assets move freely across international borders and between institutions
and corporations. The accumulation of knowledge and the capabilities required to
prepare for these changes become key resources to facilitate understanding. The
Faculty of Economics at Kasetsart University recognizes the consequences for
students to comprehend and put in practice this knowledge and has developed a
program specializing in Entrepreneurial Economics.
About the Program
Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurial Economics, known as EEBA Program, is an
international undergrate program of the Faculty of Economics at Kasetsart
University. The program is a full time study for four year and taught in English.
The program offers four different categories to major and study towards;
(1) Economic of Logistics;
(2) Economic of Agricultural Business and Food;
(3) Economic of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation
(4) Economic of Tourism and Hospitality.
Program Objective:
(1) To create graduates abundant in knowledge and the abilities required to start
and run a successful business of their own. Backed up with proficiencies in foreign
language and technology to ensure the effective conduct of business.
(2) To establish a foundation for education in a more advanced level.
(3) To produce graduates qualified both academically and ethically, and equipped
with and conscience.
(4) To equip graduates with abilities to perform their career professionally both as
a staff member and an executive in national and multi-national organizations.
Students in EEBA program will learn applied economic models and
concepts that facilitate effective business management. They will experience

innovative concepts and be able to apply them to achieving academic and
business skill development.
They will gain experience, expertise and knowledge from our invited
lecturers and professors and are able to participate in Exchange Programmes with
renowned Universities from around the world. Although practical training is not
required, our staff will arrange training within private industries. Students will enjoy
certain privileges, for example.
Double Degree Offered to all students in the program, it is an
advantage from studying in the program. Students can gain a Double Degree and
choose from one if four majors to specialize in from well known European
Universities.

Important Rules and Registrations Students must follow rules and regulations as follows:
1) “The Undergraduate Study Regulations of Kasetsart University B.E. 2548”
2) “The Stipulations of the curriculum of EEBA”, composing total credits, curriculum structures, subjects, Prerequisite, and course description
3) ” Other rules and regulations” of Kasetsart University, Faculty of Economics, and EEBA Program such as regulation of dress codes, exam code
of conduct.
1. Registration (The Undergraduate Study Regulations: Chapter 1 Section 9, 10)
• Students have to be responsible on his or her registration results. EEBA program will not take any responsibility.
• Students shall personally review his or her status of new registrations, adding or dropping status and keep copies of
all documents for evidence.
• Students must follow the deadline of regular and late registering, adding, dropping, and withdrawing in accordance
with the University’s announcement.
• The student shall register for no less than 9 credits but not exceeding 22 credits.
• Withdrawing some subjects can be done within 30 days from the day the regular semester begins to avoid getting W
(withdrawn) recorded on transcripts.
• Registration requires approval of an Academic Advisor in accordance with the stipulations of the EEBA curriculum.

• Students must check all Prerequisite conditions before registration.
o The student must pass the exam for such pre-requisite or the registered course shall become invalid.
o A student may register for a subsequent subject in the same semester as the pre-requisite subject
that he or she had failed (F). However, if a student
drops a pre-requisite which is registered at the same
time as the subsequent subject, he must also drop the
subsequent subject otherwise such registered
subsequent subject shall be deemed invalid.
2. Examination Regulations (The Undergraduate Study Regulations: Chapter 3
Section 12)
• Students with a valid reason to miss examination on the designated date can, within 7 days of that date, arrange with
the instructor of the subject to take the examination within
30 days or it shall be deemed that he is no-show
• Students who cheat in the examination shall fail the subject (get F) and suffer a disciplinary punishment.
3. Grade Changing
Grade points A-F cannot be amended. Only Grade I (Incomplete) can be amended (to Grade B+ , B, C+, C, D+, D) before the end of the
following semester otherwise the students shall automatically get the failing
grade F. The grade result reflects the learning ability of the students, which

can be mainly measured from written tests. Students who get F because they will not answer written exams.
4. Academic Leave of Absence (The Undergraduate Study Regulations: Chapter
3 Section 23)
Student may submit a petition to take a leave of absence for Granted an Exchange Student Scholarship or his ability to study well is affected by
accident, peril or sickness. The academic leave of absence may not be taken
longer than 2 consecutive semesters.
5. Student Status (The Undergraduate Study Regulations: Chapter 3, Section
22)
Student status shall be terminated (can not register) when the student:
• does not complete the registration procedures within three weeks as from the date the semester starts;
• acquires lower GPA than 1.50 unless they are new students studying in the first semester;
• acquires lower GPA than 1.75 two semesters consecutively, not counting the first semester for the new students
6. Nomination for Diploma and Awards for Academic Distinction (The
Undergraduate Study Regulations: Chapter V)
• Student must earn a combined GPA throughout the entire curriculum, no less than 2.0
• To be awarded with degree honors, students never fail a subject or never repeat a subject. Student earns GPA from

3.50 for the First Class Honor and 3.25 for the Second Class
Honor.
7. Student Conduct Code and Discipline (The Undergraduate Study
Regulations: Chapter VI)
• Student have the duty to refrain from consuming alcohol or using addictive substances on campus
• Student have the duty to refrain from engaging in physical violence on or off campus
• Student have the duty to refrain from any type of gambling activities on campus
• Student have the duty to refrain from practicing inappropriate traditions or activities on or off campus
8. Dress Code (University and EEBA’s rule and regulation)
• Students are required to wear KU student’s uniform • Students who violate the dress code policy will received a
two percent deduction of attendance scores
9. Classroom Rule
• Students shall maintain no less than 80 percent of attendance time required for the subject to have the right to
take the examination.
• Students are expected to arrive for class on time. Students who attend the class 15-30 minute late will receive a two
percent deduction of attendance scores. Student who

attend the class more than 30 minute late will be
considered as no attendance.
• Food is not allowed in classroom buildings. Students who bring the good in classroom will received two percent
deduction of attendance scores.
• Turn off all Electronic Devices, including IPAD and cell phones. No text messaging or emailing in the classroom
except for getting the permission from instructors.
• Students are expected to remain in the classroom for the duration of the class. Don’t do inappropriate activities
such as put your make up on in class.
