BY MEGAN HILL
On Mon., Nov. 16, the Keota FFA Chapter held their annual Soup Supper. As always, there was plenty of soup to go around. The upcoming Conduct of Meetings team performed first and then all the awards were handed out. First, the Junior Parliamentary Procedure team was given their awards for performing at the National level. Then came the Soils team with their awards for winning at the District level and later performing at the State level. Finally, the awards for the top fruit salesmen were given out, with Jack Eakins coming in first, Cooper Sieren com-ing in second, and Cortney Hyman coming in third. There was also a guest speaker, Michael Tupper, who came all the way from Ames, Iowa. Michael is the FFA State President and delivered his speech on the importance of an agricultural life. Overall, this year’s FFA Soup Supper was a huge success.
