WEDDING AND FUNCTION PACKAGE Thank you for considering the Houw Hoek Hotel as a venue for your wedding or function.
Please enquire for prices We can accommodate up to 250 people for a sit-down brunch, lunch or dinner.
Please do not hesitate to contact Veronica (event coordinator) or Brendine or Bernard if you have any questions or have any custom requirements. We can organise anything that you may need, so let us do everything for you.
VENUES The Barn
• Up to 200 guests. • Minimum of 50 guests. • Not available on Saturday evenings.
Ou Kaapse Hoek • Up to 250 guests. • Minimum of 50 guests.
Smaller venues are available on request. The venue will be booked for you until 15h00 for a brunch or lunch and until 02h00 for a dinner.
Ceremony Venue – inside or outside.
CORKAGE We charge a corkage fee for the following beverages: wine, sparkling wine, grape juice, juice, mineral water, sherry (for pre-drinks).
All other beverages are to be bought from the hotel using cash, a limited account or from a full open bar.
MENU See our menu options and pricing. Note that all menu prices include the set-up, crockery, cutlery, glasses, tablecloths and napkins, as well as the tables and chairs.
• The menu must be confirmed at least 2 weeks before the function. • Table settings and final number of guests must be confirmed 4 days before the function. • Please include musicians, the DJ and the photographers in your final count should you wish to
provide them with a meal.
ADDITIONAL • We can organize a DJ for the evening (when available). • Snack platters, pȃtès and dips can be organised for pre-drinks. • Flowers, extra decorations, wedding cakes and photographers must be organised by yourselves.
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT
Deposit required on date of booking.
• Balance of total cost is required 2 weeks prior to the function date. • Unfortunately, we cannot accept cheques.
If you cancel your booking, your deposit will only be refunded if we can resell the venue for that day.
