Draw your own Visual Portrait Story (VPS)

Storyboard

Task: Break your story down using visual images for different sections of your story. Collect images from photos, magazines. These will eventually need to be scanned. Aim to collect 10-15 images. Use powerpoint to create a draft storyboard.

Oral Storytelling

Each student will present a 1 minute oral version of their story to the class in small groups using their draft storyboard developed in Powerpoint. Students will

receive feedback from their peers to assist them to develop their stories. Use this page to break your story down into point form notes to help you with your oral

presentation to the small group.

Building Your Digital Story

Over the next few lessons you will master the use of Microsoft Photostory and/or Microsoft MovieMaker to build your digital story adding your

soundtrack, music and your pictures.
