The Pastor’s Perspective

As we move into 2019, I see unlimited and untapped potential in the congregations of both Cherry Run and Mt. Zion. It is my sincere hope and prayer that we move forward together with excitement and enthusiasm for what God has planned for us. Sharing life together, drawing closer to God and studying his word will strengthen us as brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.

I would ask everyone for continued prayers and patience as I move through the candidacy process of becoming a licensed local Pastor. At times I feel like a fish out of water, but I believe wholeheartedly that the Sleepy Creek Charge is where God wants me to be. 2018 was a challenging and rewarding year for me personally as I held strong to God’s word in Philippians 4:13 which tells us, “I can do all this through Him who gives me strength”.

I look forward to serving as your Pastor in 2019!

Praising and Serving Him!

Pastor Tony
