Our Founders

Kathleen has a real knack for process, analytics, and strategy. As an entrepreneur and engineer she loves to problem solve and craft strategies that are smart, efficient, and trackable. With a great appreciation for design, congruent user experience, and analytics she leads our firm strategy as well as our digital strategy and marketing teams. Her strong background in business and industrial engineering make her an effective leader who continually finds new ways to help brands and businesses understand their users, craft smart strategies, and grow.

Kathleen obtained her MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech. She has worked with top leadership at Walmart, Duke Energy, University of Michigan, Suntrust Bank, Schlumberger, and Northrop Grumman to implement both user-focused and technology driven change. Kathleen received the “Dean’s Leadership Award” from the McComb School of Business.

Kathleen was born and raised in Hershey, Pennsylvania. This explains her daily craving for chocolate, but does not explain her appreciation for craft beer. Kathleen has recently become hooked on golf and putts in her living room.

Kathleen LockwoodMarketing Director

Jessica specializes in digital arts and animation. She is skilled in capturing moments and information that transcend the medium they’re captured in. In her day to day work she focuses on applying creative design to make tangible change in businesses. She leads teams in creative technology projects across a variety of industries and excels at the art of creative direction and user experience. Jessica applies her talents across virtual reality, animation, UI, UX, graphics, web design, and branding all while leading our teams and ensuring every project is both functional and beautiful.

Jessica holds a degree in Digital Arts & Animation from the Tecnologico de Monterrey. Her experience is vast: she has animated for a Cannes nominated short-film, given countless presentations for aspiring digital artists and designers, and has worked with big brands including Audi, Toyota, eBay, and IMSS. She currently leads some of our most important creative initiatives, including several of the Carlos Slim Foundation.

Jessica is from Mexico City and loves to travel. She has a rambunctious chocolate lab that she runs with daily. Jessica is a vegetarian of 10 years and admits she still loves the smell of bacon. She’s a big fan of veggie burgers - she says there are tons of options. We don’t believe her.

Our Founders

Mario is a true tech enthusiast. He focuses in continually improving how businesses and brands can better use technology to improve user experience, run more efficiently, and ultimately improve their bottom line. Mario is passionate about innovation but always pursues what is also realistic and smart for each client. Mario leads the way for our development engineering team (software engineers, front and back-end developers) and puts his skills to use across systems, web, apps, virtual reality, AI, AR, and more. His passion for innovation through technology has led to much success in many industries.

Mario is a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Texas at Austin. His great business sense comes from many years of experience in IT consulting for large companies including Genentech and GM, as well as his entrepreneurial experience in starting 3 successful companies across various industries. Mario is the proud recipient of the I2P award (Idea to Product) on a 2007 venture that is currently still active. Mario currently oversees our most tech-heavy initiatives including an IMSS health mobile app and a VR archaeological preservation initiative with the INAH.

Mario is originally from Mexico City and lived for 10+ years in Michigan and Texas. He is an avid F1 fan (he was part of the hybrid car team at UT) and is thrilled that both Mexico City and Austin are in the F1 circuit. Mario plays tennis, golf, and is training for his second triathlon.
