MORNING Quantum Global
Good Morning & Welcome to Wednesday's trading action at Dalal
Street, dated 27th March 2019.
The bull market at Dalal Street is raging since 19th Feb 2019.
It is a joy to watch Nifty's breathtaking up-move of 9% in this period. The
speed and magnitude was remarkable thanks in part to easing off of border
geopolitical tensions and then most importantly, hopes that Prime Minister
Narendra Modi will come back to power after the upcoming general elections.
The big FII's have been supportive in this phase. According to depository
data, foreign investors pumped in a net sum of Rs 27,231 crore in equities in
March 2019.
And if yesterday's trading action is any indication then investors seem to be
moving past the recent U.S inverted yield curve and the recession worries.
Honestly speaking, betting against these negative catalysts have been a
foolish endeavor.
That brings to our call of the day which says that the needle right now is
pointing to the positive side and the bullish takeaway is that many a
momentum stocks may simply roar.
The 3 Must-Own Stocks as Dalal Street Skyrockets!
1.NCC.
2.SIEMENS.
3.ORIENTAL BANK OF COMMERCE.
'Fast Motion Panic Buying' quite likely to be the theme at Dalal Street as Nifty
eyes its all-time-high at 11,760 mark.
The key positive catalyst: Resumption of U.S.-China trade negotiations likely
to keep hope alive of trade truce. A resolution of disagreements on tariffs
could offer a boost to worldwide stock markets, providing some optimism to
investors wringing their hands over growing signs of a slowdown in economic
expansion across the globe — possibly exacerbated by the trade dispute.
Long story short: Close your eyes, hold your nose and ignore the
many risks facing the worldwide stock markets amidst global
growth concerns.
Nifty's make-or-break intraday support at 11375 mark!
Outlook for Wednesday: Buy on dips!
So the theme in near term will be centered around the trade negotiations
between Beijing and Washington that is scheduled to kick off this Thursday,
with U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and Treasury Secretary
Steven Mnuchin to help complete long-running discussions between the
world’s largest economies.

MORNING Quantum Global
Technical StrategyAlso commanding attention would be the Brexit in the U.K. A disorderly exit
from the EU by Britain could unsettle global benchmarks, market participants
fear.
Meanwhile, volatility could be hallmark of this week's trading as March series
futures & options contracts expire on Thursday, and as investors roll over
positions to April series.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is one of the largest Indian
multi-national firm and a leading construction
company in India. The company has business
interests in engineering, construction,
manufacturing goods, information technology,
and financial services. The key positive catalysts
proving revenue visibility:
• Presence in diversified segments.
• Healthy order book position.
• Regular order inflows.
• Healthy project execution
• Cost-cutting initiatives
Technically, brace yourselves for a major
breakout play from a complex ‘Flag pattern’
breakout on the monthly charts. An impulse
uptrend is seen forming on the daily time scale,
with positive SAR series, major confirmation
above its all-time high at 1471 mark.
Add to that a bullish divergence and a rising
stochastic signal (on weekly charts) with recent
increase in volumes signaling a larger rebound.
The 200 days Exponential Moving Average (EMA)
of the stock on the daily chart is currently at 1322
zone. The level of Rs 1322-1325 zone will act as a
strong support zone and any corrective declines
to these levels should be used as an opportunity
to initiate aggressive long positions.
A potential entrance exists the stock at CMP, and
on dips between 1325-1345 zone, targeting all-
time-highs at 1471 and then logical targets at its
psychological 1501 zone. Aggressive targets
placed at 1651 mark. Stops below 1201. Holding

GLOBAL CUES:
• In Wednesday's trade at Wall Street, stocks were mostly seen trading with positive bias, but the Brexit situation in
Europe and recession worries after the yield curve inverted kept a section of investors on sidelines.
Scaring investors the most is the yield on 3-month U.S Treasuries that rose above the rate on 10-year Treasuries for the
first time since 2007.
A narrowing spread is typically seen as sign that long-term economic confidence is dwindling.
POLITICAL CUES:
• The street is also quite optimistic that Narendra Modi-led government will come back to power after the general
elections 2019. Optimists appear to be betting that Modi’s re-election will boost investment activity in sectors such as
construction and infrastructure.
MACRO CUES:
• As per International Monetary Fund (IMF) report, India has been one of the fastest growing large economies in the
world. IMF communications director Gerry Rice reportedly said India has of course been one of the world's fastest
growing large economies of late, with growth averaging about 7% over the past five years.
• The biggest theme for this week would be US-China trade truce that remains an issue. Well, as per media reports, the
said meeting between Presidents Donald Trump and Xi Jinping may not happen until June 2019.
COMMODITY CUES:
• GOLD ($1321): Support now seen 1299-1303 zone. Major intermonth hurdles now seen at 1368. Interweek Strategy:
Buy between 1305-1311 zone, targeting 1323 and then at 1359-1368 zone with stop below 1293.
• WTI CRUDE-OIL (60.15): Bias continues to be positive. Key support now at 58.25 zone. Interweek strategy: Establish
buy positions between 58.25-58.75 zone, targeting 61 zone and then at 63.50 with strict stop at 57.45..
• MCX COPPER (437): Interweek strategy: Establish short positions between 446-449 zone, targeting 425-427 zone and
then aggressive targets at 401-411 zone with stop at 463.
CURRENCIES & BONDS:
• In Tuesday's trade, the Indian Rupee appreciated by 8 paise against the dollar to close at 68.86.
The key positive catalysts in favor of the Indian Rupee: Strong dollar inflows and weakness in the greenback overseas.
Technically, USD/INR faces major hurdles at 70.45. Major strength seen only above 70.45. Interweek Strategy:
Aggressive traders can look to buy at CMP, targeting 70.05 and then 70.45. Stop 67.50.

WHAT TECHNICALS TELLS US ON NIFTY:
• In Tuesday's trade, the benchmarks witnessed major rebound, up 129 points at 11483. The positive takeaway was that
Nifty ended just a tad below its psychological 11500 mark. Sensex however reclaimed and settled above 38000 mark.
• Nifty continues to trade way above its 21 DMA & 200 DMA placed at 11133 & 10907 mark respectively.
• The market breadth, indicating the overall health of the market was positive in Tuesday's trade. The BSE Mid-Cap index
gained 1.09%. The BSE Small-Cap index rose 0.66%.
• Technically speaking, medium term supports on Nifty are placed at 10971 zone. Only on any move below 10,971 will the
technical conditions deteriorate with aggressive targets at 10,583 mark.
• Intraday support seen at 11431 and then at 11375 mark.
• Intraday hurdles are at 11577 and then major hurdles seen at 11760 mark.
• The medium term price action for Nifty is suggesting that we are likely to see a 11201-11,701 range in near term with
neutral bias.
Bulls Vs. Bears: Time to Pick a Side!!
Hopes alive of Nifty reclaiming its all-time-high at 11760.
A. Preferred trade on Nifty (11483): Buy between 11431-11451 zone. Targets 11577/11670. Stop 11301.
