Adhere the thermometer strip to the kit container

Adhere the Secchidisk icon sticker on the inside bottom of the container.

Fill the container with the water sample to the “Fill Line” located on the outside kit label.

Compare the appearance of the Secchi disk icon in the container to the chart.

Dissolved Oxygen tablets Submerge the small

tube into the water sample.

Drop two Dissolved Oxygen tablets into the tube. Water will overflow when the tablets are added.

Screw the cap on the tube. Make sure no bubbles are present in the sample.

Mix by inverting the tube over and over until the tablets have disintegrated.

Wait 5 more minutes for the colour develop. Compare the colour of the sample to the Dissolved Oxygen colour chart.

pH Tablets

Fill the test tube to the 10mL line with the water sample.

10mL water sample.

Add one pH tablet. Cap the test tube.

Mix by inverting until the tablet has disintegrated.

Compare the colour of the sample to the pH colourchart.

After TestingAfter Testing

Wash your hands immediately.

Dispose of used sample into waste water container.
