Talent Be prepared for a day filled with mesmerising songs, foot stomping dances, side-splitting
jokes and much more. We will prepare our performances and
props in the morning and then after lunch we will show case
your amazing talents.

little things we can do, at school and
at home, that make a difference to the survival and health of our earth. We will learn more about what we can do to reduce waste

GENERAL INFORMATION
Opening Times: 6.45am – 6:00pm. Parent/ Caregiver must sign in and out their child each day. Late collection of your child results in a $20 fee for the first ½ hour and $40 for the hour after we close.
Please make bookings for vacation care by the Booking Date (see Booking Form).Vacation Care
places cannot be assured after this date and only if a vacancy is available. Late bookings will be charged at the casual rate for the first day then the daily rate for the remainder
of the bookings. Incursions are compulsory for all children attending ABCC and EY ABCC, and Excursions are
compulsory for Yr. 2 – Yr. 6. ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
Mobile phones are not to be used during ABCC. If students need to contact parents then they may
use the ABCC phone and parents may contact children during the day by phoning the ABCC office.
Students are advised to hand mobile phones into the ABCC office for safe keeping.
IPods/iPads and DS (Electronic games) –specific times will be programmed during the vacation care
period for children to have a short quiet time with electronic equipment. Some program days will
occasionally be designated electronic equipment days – these will have specific times and age
groups. See rules below.
The rules for electronic equipment at ABCC will be enforced:
Electronic equipment must be signed into ABCC office and signed out at the end of the day.
All equipment must be named - this will include games.
No devices will be charged at ABCC or EY ABCC. Please ensure all devices are charged the night
before.
Only two games “G” rated will be allowed.
Equipment must not be left in bags at ABCC.
Times for play will be strictly enforced.
Menu
ABCC and EY ABCC provide lunch and afternoon tea for all children attending the service.
Children are required to bring own morning tea.
The ABCC and EY ABCC Menu can be found on the Notice Board and on the vacation care program.
Specific dietary needs of students will be taken into account as per parental instructions.
Educators will supervise all meal breaks, encouraging children to eat, and drink plenty of fluid, and to
remain seated while doing so.
Children and Educators are actively involved in cooking our lunches and afternoon tea each day.
All Educators and children involved in food preparation will wash their hands with soap and water
prior to activity. Children will be closely supervised while cooking is in progress.
Clothing Children MUST wear appropriate clothing which covers their skin in the Sun, this includes footwear as
well.
Thongs and sleeveless shirts are not appropriate for Vacation Care. Please ensure that your child is
wearing walking shoes for excursions.
HATS are a MUST in Vacation Care. No hat, no play. No caps.
Please label clothing with your child’s name, we have a lot of lost property in the school holidays.
Please ensure that your child brings a spare set of clothes each day as there are water activities
during the day especially in our Summer Vacation Care period.
Excursion Information On excursion days, please be here by 9am at the latest, we cannot hold up the bus and delay their
schedule.
Prep – Year 6 are able to attend Excursions. Kindy children remain at the EY ABCC Service.
Excursions will book out early, so get your form in before the due date to avoid disappointment.
College sports shirt, jumper and bucket hat is to be worn on excursion days.
A packed healthy lunch box and water bottle is required for your child in a back pack.
Electronics are not permitted on excursions. Please leave them at home.
