STATUS AS OF NOWAt the start of Computerization Process, Immovable Waqf Properties reported by 29SWBs were 3,19,670.As on April 15, 2015, WAMSI On-line System have the data of 3,47,143 Immovable WaqfProperties.So, you have added (27,473) more ImmovableWaqf Properties than our earlier target. Congratulations to all those SWBs who have exceeded their targets.

WHAT NEXT ?Validation of Properties Data with the information collected from Field Visits.Properties’ Digital Photographs (min 5 nos.).Immovable Properties GPS Coordinates (Layout Vertices vis-à-vis Satellite Imageries).Individual Identities, who manages the Waqf Properties along-with their Aadhaar Numbers.Mandatory Annual Return Filing of each Waqf Property (or Waqf Estate).

PROBLEMSSome Waqf Boards thinks that their job is over when they have completed the Inventory of Waqf Properties.So, they are not inclined to use the WAMSI On-line System for their day-to-day core functions such as Appointment of Mutawalli, Annual Return Filing, Administrative Contribution (7%), Leasing, Rent Collection, Litigation Hearing Details, Ownership Documents Digitization, etc.

SOLUTIONSWaqf Boards have to own this Project as their own, because it will improve their efficiency, empowering them for on-line monitoring from anywhere, helps in detecting encroachments using in-built GIS capabilities, helps in enhancing the income of Waqf Properties, Tracking of Hon’ble Court Cases, etc.No need to invest anything on Softwares as whole burden of availability, maintaining, enhancing, technological upgradation, back-up, etc has been taken care by the Central Govt.

SOLUTIONS contd…./2Waqf Boards has to operationalized the WAMSI On-line System in their Divisions/Sections dealing with the subjects vis-à-vis WAMSI Modules on a day-to-day basis alongwith their files movement as work-flow.One competent & qualified IT Systems Manager alongwith a Data Management Assistant to assist IT Systems Manager, are required at CCF to take the responsibility of continuous training to SWB Staff to operate WAMSI On-line System at SWB level and to manage CCF Infra.
