• Wanha Satama venue (The Old Harbour) is located in Katajanokka, right next to Helsinki city center’s main attractions

• In 1890s the brick buildings of Wanha Satama were used as a storage for undeclared goods e.g. coffee and spices

• The train track from the Katajanokka Harbour to city center run between the twin warehouses Elder & Poplar

• Nowadays the brick buildings are united with an atmospheric Glass Gallery• The venue was fully renowated when the Helsinki Fair Ltd moved into the

Wanha Satama premises in 1989• In 2004 The Finnish Fair Corporation bought the Wanha Satama property and

Helsinki Fair's business operations • Today the historic warehouse building acts as a venue for successful

encounters• The building is protected by the National Board of Antiquities
