Front: Work the front the same as back until piece measures 5¼” (6¼, 7¼)" from beginning. On RS and color A, work 23 (26, 30) sts, join B and work 18 sts of chart pattern #4, end 23 (26, 30) sts. When complete, continue in color A until piece measures 12¾” (13¾, 14¾)" from beginning. Neck Shaping: On RS row, K27 (29, 33)sts, join 2nd ball of yarn and BO center 10 (12, 12) sts, work to end. Work both sides at once, BO 3 sts from each neck edge once, then decrease 1 st every other row, twice. Work even until piece measures 15¼” (16¼, 17¼)" from beginning. BO remaining 19 (21, 25) sts for each shoulder. Sleeves: Stripe pattern: *[4 rows of color B, 4 rows of color A]; repeat from *, work in Stockinette st until desired length. Note: Stockinette St : K all sts on RS rows, P all sts on WS rows. With larger needles and CO 32 (32, 34) sts. Work in Stockinette st for 1½". Join color B and continue in stripe pattern for entire sleeve. AT SAME TIME: Increase 1 st at each side every 6th row until 58 (62, 66) sts are reached. Work even until piece measures 13 (13½, 14)" from beginning. BO on WS. Finishing: Weave in all ends and block pieces to measurements. Sew left shoulder seam. Neckband: With RS facing, smaller needles and color A, pick up 72 (74, 74) sts evenly around neck. Work in [K1, P1] Rib Pattern for 6 rows. On RS, work in Stockinette st for 1". BO on WS. Sew 2nd shoulder and neckband seam. Mark 5¾” (6¼, 6½)" down from each shoulder at armhole edge. Sew top of armhole edge between markers. Sew remaining side and sleeve seams. Eyes (Make 2): With black thread attach buttons as indicated on chart in "x" formation. Ears (Make 2): With larger needles and color C, CO 3 sts. Increase 1 st at each end every other row until 7 sts are reached. Work even for 3", then decrease every other row until 3 sts remain. Cut yarn and pull through remaining sts. With color C, embroider ch st around ear, attach as indicated on chart at top and bottom.

Nose: With crochet hook and strand of color A, ch 12 sts. Spiral into circle and attach as indicated on chart. Whiskers (Make 2): Cut 2 pieces of elastic 4½" long, attach as indicated on chart.
