The duties performed as a TFO Volunteer require commitment, dedication, responsibility and charity. The riders, visitors, campers, their families and TFO owners acknowledge the sacrifices you make to create successful therapeutic riding programs. Too Far Out Farm Thrives on VolunteerismCurrently, a handful of devoted volunteers provide all the necessary sweat equity to make our ministry possible. As God leads, and the ministry grows, the people who come along side us are our greatest asset and blessing. In the interest of safety and good horse sense, TFO volunteers are required to complete a training session provided by TFO Farm owners, Debbie and Mike Peterson. Ongoing training is provided through careful mentorship. We depend on volunteers to share the love of Jesus with all who reside and visit the farm, so biblical discipleship and leadership is infused in all learning opportunities for volunteers. Opportunities to volunteer exist for barn chores, exercising the horses, fundraising events, as well as special projects and fellowship activities throughout the year.
