VICKIE’S SIT AND SPOIL Need peace of mind that your dog or puppy is well taken care of while at

work or on vacation?

Give Vickie’s Sit and Spoil a call and bring your canine companion for one on one pampered care!

I have over 15 years of loving, caring, and spoiling dogs located in the Amarillo area. Many Lake Tanglewood residents have trusted me to keep

their dog(s) and have become like family.

I would also be willing to provide in home care for your dog as well.

CALL: (806) 373-3373 or (806) 570-2995 for a reservation.

References upon request.

Please ensure that shots, bordetella shot, flea and tick prevention are up to date.

Hello friends, Just a line or two to say thank you for your support this year.

Most of our scrambles had good to great turnouts. This type of turnout enables us to invest in our course. New trees, new water lines to the back Nine and as I pen this note we are preparing the ground for a new concrete cart path be-tween Seventeen and Eighteen.

Thanks to Joe and his maintenance crew for keeping the course looking good and healthy during this harsh panhandle summer.

Thanks for the businesses for their participation buying adds on the tee box signs. And the folks that sponsor our scrambles.

I probable sound like golf is done for the year. But it’s not, Not at all! Fall personally speaking is the best time to get out and play. Lots of daylight left when we get home from work, or on the weekend. Temperatures are mild, the weather is more stable, and people are nicer because it’s not so dang hot. Ok I’m outa here for now.Be Safe, Healthy and Blessed! Roger D. Turner, President LTGA

LIONS SERVING OTHERS The world’s largest service club organization

Tanglewood had a very successful July 4th celebration. The weather was great and everyone had fun. The Hamburger & Hotdog Cookout raised $3053 and the Ice Cream Feast raised $1218. We would like to thank the volunteers who cooked and served the hamburgers/hotdogs; the food tasted so good. Lions Club members & their wives made gallons & gallons of delicious homemade ice cream. We served from 10 am to 12:15 when we sold out of ice cream. Thanks Lake Tanglewood community residents & friends for supporting our community events. Money raised by the Hamburger & Hotdog goes to the fish restocking for 2018-19. Ice Cream funds will go toward local charities.
