1. How to Login to classroom.volp.in ?

Click on “Get Started / Login” button

Learner can use credentials shared by organization.

2. How to register to course in classroom.volp.in ?

Learners are automatically added to respective courses on VOLP platform.

If any learner is not able to see course then learner can join to the course using class code.

After course registration course cards are displayed on dashboard home page.

3. How to change password?

Click on change password

4. How to update profile?

Click on “My Profile”

5. How to attend webinar?

Click on events at right side of screen to view scheduled webinars. All subjects scheduled

webinars are displayed in this list.

If learner wants to see subject wise webinar then click on

“My Courses -> select subject -> course webinar”

Click on “webinar link” to attend webinar.

If learner has not attended webinar then learner can view webinar video by clicking on

“video” to see recorded webinars.

6. How to access course contents?

Learner can see overview about selected course by clicking on “overview” tab.

Overview has following points:

Introductory Video

Syllabus

Learning outcomes

Features

Prerequisites

Learner can see course videos, study material and assignments by clicking on “course

contents”.

Learner can watch topic video. He/She can access resources like study material, assignments

and projects.

Learner can ask doubt by clicking on “Ask a question”. Student and teacher

communication can be bidirectional.

Communication can be One-to-One or One-to-Many.

7. How to submit assessment?

To see assessment at one place, learner can click on “Assessment”.

There are five categories of assignments on VOLP platform.

A. Multiple Choice Question (MCQ)

B. Subjective/Project Assignment

C. Hands On / Programming Assignment

D. Match the Pair

E. Fill in the Blanks

A. Multiple Choice Question (MCQ)

For MCQ type assignment, learner can select one option by clicking on radio button.

B. Subjective/Project Assignment

For subjective/project type assignment, learner can write answer in space provided or learner

can upload attachment which may be in image/audio/video/document format.

C. Hands On / Programming Assignment

If assignment is hand-on/programming assignment then learner can use online compiler

provided by VOLP platform.

To start compiler, click on “Launch Compiler” option. Online compiler supports C, C++, C#,

Java, Java Script, Pascal, Python, Ruby etc. programming languages.

D. Match the Pair

For match the pair type assignment, learner can select correct pair. Each pair may have

different weightage.

E. Fill in the Blanks

For fill in the blanks question, learner can write missing words as answers.

8. How to view Announcements/Notices?

To view announcements learner can click on announcement tab. Learner can view

announcement description also he/she can download attachment if any.

9. How to give course review?

To record course review, learner can click on review tab. Learner can give rating of this

course on scale of 5. Learner can give remark about the course also.

10. How to attempt Quiz?

Teachers can conduct quiz for a subject on particular topic or chapter to assess

understanding of learners. Quiz is open only for limited duration which teacher has set.

When quiz is scheduled by teacher, learner receives mail about the same also it is

reflected in upcoming events of learner dashboard.

To attempt quiz, learner can click on “Quiz” tab. Learner can see list of quizes. If quiz is

open then corresponding button is blue. Learner can click on “Online Exam” button to

start exam.

After giving quiz, learner can see result immediately.

11. How to apply for online job postings?

Learner can update skill set by clicking on Career-My Skills

Click on Career-> opportunities for you, to view job listings.

Select job location and skill then click on “show jobs”.

VOLP platform shows jobs posting on this page. Learner can apply to these job postings.

12. Help Desk

To communicate technical issue, please click on Help Desk->Issue.

Learner can write issue description. Learner can also send screenshot of technical

problem.
