Audio Configurations in Windows 7 for Xtenda x550

Steps1. Install the updated version of VSpace available at

http://www.ncomputing.com/softwaredownload i. Note : Select appropriate software according to your

Xtenda and operating system

2. Install Vspace, during installation you will get the following screen Make the highlighted option of “Always trust software from Ncomputing, INC” enabled by clicking it

3. Then Click on Install (highlighted)

4. Then it will install the complete software 5. After complete installation and restart. You will have to check

for the playback devices on Xtenda server Pc.6. Right click on sound startup icon on Xtenda server as shown in

bellow screen

7. Select “playback devices ” option as shown in screen bellow

8. Then you will get the following screen on your Xtenda Server computer

9. Note that in this list all the devices are present for your Xtenda Server and Xtenda Server.

Here the devices mentioned as “X-series audio” are devices for your Xtenda client one from these will also present in your Xtenda client Pc as per its terminal ID

Example: “2-X- series Audio” will be listed in Xtenda Terminal 2 pc, in its playback devices

Example: “2-X- series Audio” will be listed in xtenda Terminal 2 pc, in its playback devices as follows

10. Now set the “Speakers high definition audio device” as a default communication device as shown bellow on your Xtenda Server PC.

11. Then set the headphones as a default audio device on Xtenda Server PC. As shown bellow.

12. Then check all the Clients are also getting their respective speakers device in their playback device list as shown in following Screens

Following screen is for Xtenda Client 1. (Terminal 1)

Following screen is for Xtenda Client 2(terminal 2)

Following screen is for Xtenda Client 3(terminal 3)

Following screen is for Xtenda Client 4(terminal 4)

Following screen is for Xtenda Client 5(terminal 5)

Note:

If there is no appropriate device is listed at client then reinstalls the Vspace and make sure that you have all the monitors of Clients in “Switched ON” state while installing Vspace

Because then only it will detect Xtenda Client and deploy an audio Device for it.
