Q3:The above call was issued and the only major item on part C and D is NEW sidewalk. The General Excavation under items 47 and 66 just happens to volumetrically equal the earthfill to be removed under the sidewalk. That being said, if the said significant amount of General Excavation as listed under the items47 and 66 are not to be used for removal of earth under the sidewalk, why is it in the scheduleof prices?
A3:Acknowledged. See revision 1 above.
Q4:There is no work proposed for Parts “C” and “D” other than NEW sidewalk. If the General Excavation does not cover the material to be removed under the sidewalk onboth sections “C” and “D”, where is the General Excavation for Parts “C” and “D” proposed tobe used?
A4:Acknowledged. See revision 1 above.
-3-
Q5:As per addendum 3 sent yesterday, regarding the two excavation items under the sidewalksections 47 & 79: your answer states that the items are NOT for the earth excavation where thesidewalk will be placed.
