If you find a domestic animal baby alone it is very kind to take in the animal but you don’t know if they bite or not so you need to find out or give the animal to RSPCA.
How to handle spiky hedgehogs
If you find a hedgehog you could try to look after it but usually you would give it to RSPCA. If you do want to keep a hedgehog, you need to know how to uncurl it. First you need to get some garden gloves on your hands because hedgehogs are very spiky. Then you need to pick up the hedgehog and rock it like it is a little baby. It should then slowly uncurl from it’s ball.
