It is the largest artery in the body. Originates from the left ventricle. It is divided into 4 parts. It carries oxygenated blood to all parts of the body.

Subclavian Artery

• First part– Vertebral – Internal thoracic– Thyrocervial trunk

• Inf thyroid• Suprascapular• Transverse cervical

• Second part– Costocervical trunk

• Superior intercostal• Deep cervical

• Third part– Dorsal scapular
