• Sphagnum has the highest water capacity –1:20 weight ratio, and high water retention,

because of its super low thermal conductivity and a special tussock structure. It helps to

prevent water evaporation, reducing its use for watering 2,5-3 times less, in comparison with

other soils or capillar mats made out of artificial tomentum, mineral absorbent cotton,

used in the Patric Blanc’s system and analogues. One more important thing about

Sphagnum that it contains natural antiseptic, obstructive to fungus disease and other

bacteria of root system.
