VediaShareQuickGuideRequirementsforrentingacar

Inordertorentacar,youneedthreethings.Youneedanemailaddressthatendswith@nokia.com,avaliddriver'slicenseandacreditcard.Onceyouhavedownloadedtheappandagreedtotheterms,itwillaskforyouremailaddress.Onceyouhaveprovidedit,itwillsendyouatokentotheemailaddressthatvalidatesyouremail.Afterenteringthetoken,opentheprofiletabandenteryourcreditcardinformationandtakeaphotoofyourdriver'slicenseviatheapp.ThelicensewillbevalidatedbyVediateamduringbusinesshours.Oncethelicenseisvalidated,youarereadytorentacar.

Bookingandusingthecarwiththeapp

Bookingacarisasimpleprocedure.Insertyourstartandendtimesforrentaltotheapp'ssearchtab,andpressthesearchbutton.Theappwilldisplaytheavailablevehiclesforthetimeperiodandallowyoutobookitfortheperiod.OncebookedthereservationwillappearintheMyBookings–tab.AbookingismadeactivebyopeningthebookingfromtheMyBookings-tabandpressing"Startbooking."Thebookingcanbeactivatedatthebooking'sstarttime.Oncestarted,theappwillallowyoutoopenandclosethedoorsofthecar.Openingthedoorsalsodisablestheimmobilizerofthecar,allowingyoutostartthecar.Additionally,theappallowsyoutoextendyourbooking,iftherearenobookingsafteryourbooking,reportpossibledamagetothecarandendthebooking.

Howtofind/howtoleavethevehicle

TheSharecarshavemarkedlocationsforpickupandreturnatendofthetripatelectricvehiclechargingrowonlowerfloorofKaraportti2parkinghall.TheSharevehiclesareallmarkedwithRental2.0sticker(carcoloursmaydifferfromappcolours).Werecommendthatyoureservethecarinadvance,toensureavailabilityofvehicle.

Starting/stoppingthecar

Youstart/stopthecarwiththestart/stopbuttonorwhenavailableinthecar.Ifnot,youwillfindthecarkeyfromtheglovecompartmenttostart/stopthecar.Pleasealwaysleavethekeytotheglovecompartmentwhenleavingthecar.

Returningthecar

Youendthetripbyleavingthecartodedicatedelectric/non-electricparkingslotatNokiaparkinghall.Closethedoorsusingtheappandthenendthebookingfromtheapp.Onceyouhaveendedthebooking,theappwillpromptyoutopayforthebooking.PleasenotethatVediaShareCarscannotbedrivenoutsideFinland.

Refillingfuel

Thevehiclemustberefuelledtofulltankbyuserbeforereturning.

Chargingthebattery

Ifthecarischargingwhenyouarrive,thenopenthecarwiththeapporyourcard.Removethecablefromthecarfirst,andthenthechargingstation.YouchargethecaratNokiaparkinghallbyconnectingthecabletothechargingporttoachargingstation,withthecableinthetrunk.Openthechargingportonthecarwithalittlepush,andinsertthefittingendofthecablethere.Noticeifthechargingportinthecarblinkswithabluelight-thenthecarcharges.

Parking

Ifyouparkwhileonjourney,youpayanyadditionalparkingfee/finesorwhenrequiredpleaseusetheparkingdisc.

Pricing

Thepricesofthecarsarealwaysbilledinfullhoursandroundeduptothenextfullhour.Thehourlypricesaccumulateuntiltheforthhourofrental.Fourhoursisthedailymaximumpayment,forhours4to24thepricestaysthesame.Thecounterstartscountingafter24hoursandstartsthebillingcycleagain.Maximumtimeforrentalis72hours.Thepaidpriceincludesinsurance.

Damagereports

Ifthereisanydamagedonetothecar,pleasefillareportfromtheapptogetinsurancecoverage.Thereportallowsyoutosubmituptofourpicturesofthedonedamageaswellasawrittenreportofthedamage.
